Amazon have been outstanding, they shipped a new tent in record time, about 4 days from USA.
They requested that I return the original tent but once they found that it was going to cost them $339.00 to return through Australia Post they told me to keep it.
It's a good outcome because now I have a tent that I can take apart for spares.
Coleman have been slow to answer, about 7 days for USA to get back to me telling me to talk to Australia who then took 10 days to tell me:
"Unfortunately we don’t have these available as spare parts"
I had asked them if I could buy some spare parts as I didn't fully trust the tent and wanted some spares.
How they can sell a tent without making spare parts available is beyond me??
We're off camping at Inverloch 10th December .. I'll let you know how we go
