Camping spot on the Central Coast of NSW?

Postby The Fletchers » Wed Jan 18, 2006 5:32 pm

Hi,

We are looking for a nice camping spot on the Central Coast of NSW.
Does anyone know of any or have a link to a website were i can find some?

We have a 6 month old baby and dont want to travel too far from home.
We also would love to be on the water (as many many people do!)

TIA :)

Yep :) Umina. Even as far up as Nelson Bay etc.

Cheap ones would be good ;)

What would one expect to pay for a powered or unpowered site anyway?!?!?!

Well some one else will have to help, sounds as if your looking for an actuall caravan park or similar. I only stayed in a van park once, been in Nat parks and State forests ever since 8) . I know of a very good one 1/2 north of newcastle, $5/night $3 for kids but no powered sites ($21 for annuall pass for your car)

Hi There,
If you stop off at the information centre on terrigal drive she'll give you a map an circle all the camp areas, it was great for a last minute camping trip for me but It was over 2 years ago i wouldnt be able to tell you the place we stayed but it was right on the beach... amazing place for my first camping trip in years.
Stay Cool... It's The Old School Rule
