No camping here this weekend, have to go down the coast tomorrow to Warrnambool to pick up the 14yr old, then it's home again.

I've missed a couple of weeks homeschooling my son so we'll be back at it this weekend. We need to start getting into shape so we can get some good ol' fashioned hiking happening soon though.

We sure are, we'll go somewhere along the Murrumbidgee. There's just nothing better than free and easy camping.............

Otto

Have you ever camped at Oura Beach near Wagga Wagga. Check this out although it wont be as green as when these photos were taken due to the drought. Also the river is a bit lower.

Derek,
Havent been there, but it surely looks like its worth a visit, we'll try it in the next month. The only place I've camped at close to Wagga is at Berry Jerry State Forest, which has the most abundant birds I've experienced in Australia.

Yep, thats a great place as well however Peach Trees State Forest Park in Queensland beats it, in my opinion, as far as birdlife goes.
