Butane stove help.

Postby bobconly » Fri Feb 17, 2006 3:04 pm

I need butane cartridges for this.
Does anyone know where I can purchase some?

Brinkmann Qwiklite Butane Stove
Quartz Ignition
B & ? International Inc.
Jacksonville, FL 32245-903?
Made in Italy
UPC 0 39953 12001 5

Some other number: 841-0100-4
Possibly model number?

The question marks in the company name and

zip were characters that were worn off box.

The canister, they call it a cartridge, is about 3" in diameter and 3" tall.

It's a nice little stove, I would hate to throw it away because I cannot find refills.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Are these anything like the little "top stoves" as I call them from kmart?

Edit: I know try any camping store they will have them, sometimes kmart, big w & the chain stores will have them. These cartridges I am talking about screw on to the bottom of the stove, u can use the same cartridges for gas lights as well.

wrong type of canister

I know what you are talking about, I have looked into those, they will not work. This is a proprietary cartridge. The dimensions, as I stated, are about 3" (7cm) in diameter and 3"(7cm) in height.

Postby nzorienteer » Tue Jan 02, 2007 3:17 pm

Hi All,
I'm flying into Sydney tomorrow and need to buy some screw on propane/butane canisters for a cooker.

Can anyone tell me the name and address of a few shops in sydney?

Or Orange, NSW is you know of any.

Cheers,
Martin
