We got our D4D Turbo Diesel today

Postby katthing » Fri May 18, 2007 10:06 pm

OMG finally after 6 weeks we finally got our car :armsup

Drives a dream, stinks though. I hate new car smell - makes me want me to vomit. I had to stick my head out the car driving down the motorway today - vomit in a new car would not be very good!

Fraser Island here we come............

We are booked in for next weekend, only problem is that there is a fishing comp on :? Oh well there will be a lot of people around if we have any problems.

We are staying at Dundabarra (or some such spelling!).....

More excited about camping than the new car 8)

Congratulations. I disagree with the smell thing. There is something special about a new car - love it

I think so but husband has been telling me that we will be doing some 4x4 ing at Frasher :*** I will believe it when I see it!!!!

We are going with a friend of husband (who also just bought a Prado) so I will send them off for the day 4x4 ing while I sit back and look after the kids. Husband can practice 4x4 ing in friends new car who doesn't care if he thrashes it! lol

We have just spent a small fortune on some camping basics! Man it can get pricy! We only got enough to get us through the weekend and use most of our friends stuff (he generally camps every weekend).

One thing I like about the Prado is the standard 180ltr fuel tank. It's a shame other makes don't take a leaf out of Mr. Tojo's book.

you whingers should try a 45L tank on for size  dunno what those jap designers where smoking when they decided to throw that on my truck.

On the + side I can get close to 450k's to a tank so at least they did something right :armsup

this site needs a finger emote just for you :$

I originally put car, but then I figured it's not a car, and 45L is pretty normal for a car. Was going to put 4b but that just confuses some people. and 4x4, well, sounds too fancy.

Would you prefer if I called it my Rig ? :***
