Hi there - Newbie

Hi Everyone,

The family and I have been camping for just over a two years now, absolutely love it. My wife and I have two girls aged 12 and 8 and love to get away when we can. We have done the tent scene for the past couple of years but decided to go the full upgrade and purchase a Goldstream RV Pop Up Trailer.
Have not been away in it yet but will do soon. I will post some photo's in the RV discussion folder for those who would like to see it.

Living in Brisbane so may get to catch up with some of you in the future.

Regards,

PaulE

hi and welcome.
I was born in Ipswich, and Ipswich is not Brisbane. Sorry a little full on about it. Near Brisbane but with stigmas attached!!

gqpatrol,

I realise it is not Brisbane as such but for those who didn't or don't know where it is I put Brisbane to give them an indication of where it is.

Stigma? You musn't have been here for a while, the place has changed dramtically.

Anyway, lets forget about the place, camping is the subject. I thought I saw a discussion board here last night talking about RV's?? I can't seem to find it here, maybe I have got confused :(

PaulE, welcome. Ipswich must be a good take off point for camping, on the road in no time. From the Redlands it takes us at least 45 mins to get past Brisbane, North, West or South.

There is a RV forum, seems to have disappeared. I'm sure it will pop back up.

TroyK,

It is pretty central for most trips, except going up North, that takes an hour or longer to get out of Brisbane. Other than that it is pretty central and a good spot, need some rain at the moment, very dry.......
