QLD - Burgess Park Beaudesert

just got back from burges park & had a great time, we had the place to our selfs. there is flushing toilets, wood bbqs,a creak to swim in but no drinking water.its $13.50 per night for a family & you can take your dog too. across the road a farmer is selling ice & fire wood just cant tell you the price,i didnt need any. if you dont have a dog you can camp up the road a bit for $10 per night per a family at stinsens park,it has more shade & a large ovell for the kids to kick the footy on & it has tank water as well but dont relly on it as it gets yoused up quick.Image

Freerocketman1, what happened to your photos?

Drove past yesterday and took these photos. It was looking good and hey they were even throwing in steaks (if you look close).

You are right Blue. Based on the date of Freerocketmans post we only missed each other by a matter of six months. :grin:

I just tacked onto his earlier post. I have to say I was amazed how nice it was looking down that way at the moment. :cheers

troy i whent down to burges for the weekend & it has changed so much, there is new people looking after it now & they are putting in a lot of effort.

note the big tree has gone it had root rot & after all the rain they had it cleaned up the creek.
