My camping week in April is shaing up to be a good fishing week. It got flooded out a week ago which should mean silt at the beach which can only mean ... MULLLOWAY!!!

Gotta catch me a mulloway ...

27 sleeps, I think

We stay at either my mother's (aaagghhh) or at a friend's place in Glenmore Park but I'm thinking about staying at the hotel across the road from Rosehill Racecourse - it's pretty flash!

Can always go for a bet too!

I used to live in Wentworthville which I thnk is near there ... dunno ... too many roads have been built since I was there.

We just had the Perth Camping and 4wd Show. Wrote an article on it. So I am not obliged to say anything else ... ;)

Enjoy the show.

It's in the OutdoorsWA magazine. It's a WA publication so you may not get it over East. Has it's own website too (see my www icon). No where near as many people signed up but it moves along a tad better than this site (no insult intended).

We have a lot of fun too ... 8)

Hi all,

The Brisbane camping & 4x4 show is on the weekend b4 Easter which means I can try out anything I buy a week later. Nothing worse than having a new toy and not being able to enjoy it. Last year, the show was on the same weekend as the long weekend, ironic really or just very ordinary organising.
Quick question for you all. If you were buying a BBQ plate for camping, what features would you like it to have? I saw one at the camping shop and I noticed it had no wind break and the grill side was more of a mezanine type mesh and not the old straight bar style. Have any of you got one of these and what do you think of it?

Cheers

Cheiffy
Please sir, Can I have some more? Time off that is.

I don't have anything to say about a gas fired Grill/BBQ I still like to use the good old wood fired plate and grill always tastes better! Maybe its because I have had 16 beers before I start cooking though!
