I'm shattered

I am looking for a rack sack and found one on e bay that looked the goods ( a bushman with 5 year warranty etc). Had never tried to buy anything on E bay before but I wanted that Rack Sack. I registered and put in a bid etc. Got to the last minute and before my eyes I got gazumped and didn't have time to put in a counter bid. :( :(

The thing with ebay is to work out your maximum price and put that on and just sit back and watch. The bidding is automatic

Pardon my ignorance Mr Bravo, but what is a Rack Sack? Are you trying to kill rats?

I was pretty desperate to buy an 8 inch old Furphy camp oven a while back. I put $420 on it and at the last minute got beaten by $5. :(

if camp ovens dont have markings (names) on them or their lids are domed and not flat ... are they just cheap ones?

Rack Sack

A sack that sits on your racks to keep the weather out of the things you want to keep dry

Glenn, I have a Bushranger rack sack and I can only describe it's weather proof ability as bloody useless. If I had my time again and I may have to end up doing it anyway I'd get one made of welded PVC. Probably a bit more to buy but the only way to ensure dry bedding and clothes. Scott.

Rule No.1, there is no such thing as a bargin on ebay anymore.

The bidding at the last second is more than likely as a result of sites such as justsnipe.com.
I must admit, I've used it once or twice :$ and it's as simple as you puting the auction number in and the 'snipe' amount and it does the rest, it'll automatically put your bid in at literally the last second. Not fair, but it's the way most auctions are won these days :?
