The Scols Soar With Eagles!

Postby Scolers » Mon Aug 20, 2007 1:57 pm

Well ... we finally did it ... after many years of looking thru the classifieds ... drooling over respective Goldstreams, Jayco's and Coromals we finally bought a Jayco Outback Eagle. We just returned from picking it up in COff's Harbour (and wasn't that an epic!). Anyway, it's a 2001 Model, Excellent Family Camper, Sleeps 5 in Comfort, Treg Cuplink, AT Tyres, Dual Battery, 240v Power Inverter, 3-way Fridge, Bed Flies, Roll-out Awning, Rhino Roof Racks.

:?#

My teenage son loves it so looks like we'll be off for some weekend surfing and fishing jaunts. The wife loves the fact that she has a four way burner and me? Well I just LOVE it ...

:armsup

Finally got the picks to put up!

Cheers!

Afer we picked it up from Coffs Harbour we stopped at Ballina overnight and set it up. So it was checked out then. It was a round trip of 1400k's from Hervey Bay to Coffs. 8)

Next major trip will likely be in late Sept. when we go to Agnes Waters although my son and I are thinking of a weekend to Tin Can Bay before then.

On TV the other day they did a story on a quiet open caravan park at Poona that looked nice, right by the water. Poona is about halfway between HB and TCB.
Never argue with a fool! They drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience!

I didn't see the show but Poona gets a mention in a fishing book I have ... might be worth a look ... 8)
