The weather must be warming up cause the site was in a lull there for a while during winter, seems to be picking up again :armsup :armsup

I suppose camping is a summer activity for a lot of people. But you are right there is more activity now than there has been for a while
Maybe we needed to get Scolers back on line :)

Other than the trip to WA in June I havent been away this winter :( hoping to get away in the next few weeks though!

Probably head up to Eildon again i think have a nice relaxing weekend. Really CBF'd with the dome tent though after the trip over west :( think I'll drop some cash on a single pole canvas unit! easier to setup!!!

Yes the weather is starting to warm up.

Next month we will be taking delivery of our new Camel camper top.

I have nearly finished the camp kitchen to be fitted to the tail gate.

I have already planned our first few trips.

Hallidays Point, Kiama and more to follow as it warms up.

Weathers warming up, hubby's been shopping at Anaconda again, and in another probably 3 weeks we'll start camping again(would start sooner but we've got interstate guests coming for a visit) :+

Its funny, maybe a Qld thing, but we see winter as the camping season.

If you go to straddie you go past my office at Cleveland. I get jittery everytime I see a fully laden 4wd going past for some action in the sand.

This week the weather has been bloody awful. Rain, high winds, ferry services cancelled, yet there is still a steady stream of vehicles heading past off to the ferry. I came to work this morning and there three vehicles in the car park outside the window loading tents etc into one vehicle heading off. There is just no stopping some people. ::()

We had a mini cyclone go thru the 'Bay this arvo ... pretty intense low pressure system that's for sure. No major damage but quite a bit of flooding and the road past Gympie is cut off.

Doesn't take much for the roads around Gympie to flood. Saw that when I worked there in 1999. Mind you the 731mm in 24 hours at Rainbow Beach is a fair amount of water to deal with. ::()
