New to camping forum!

Postby jomatt » Fri Sep 14, 2007 5:50 pm

Hi we are new to camping forum but not camping! Love to pack up camper and four kids and head off for holidays as often as we can! Take everything including kitchen sink - nothing like camping in luxury.
Wondering if anyone has any info on Frying Pan Creek in Barrington area. Pics would be great. Thanks heaps!

Thanks derek! Have just been checking out your damper recipes. We have always cooked baked dinners and awesome stews in our campovens but have never been game to cook damper. Will give it a go when we go up to Barrington Tops. Hubby wants to know if you add beer to your damper! I settle for golden syrup on mine!!!

No have never wasted beer in a damper. :***

Have a look at the Bungleboori Bread recipe. Does the same as beer I am told. Makes it somewhat lighter.

Welcome aboard.

I posted a lemonade based one if thats any help. Its very simple, measure and mix the dry ingredients before you go and add a can of lemonade at camp. Don't know if I would try it with beer though.

We live at Niagara Park and love to camp. Have you been to the Watagans? If so, where would you recommend?
