Hi , We put a deposit down on a new ct yesterday , pick it up in about 4 weeks . This would have to be the best one we have seen by far, after looking all round Brisbane we found it locally.

I am thinking it could be one of my "dream CTs"

ie Jimboomba CT

Aluminium on Galv chassis

It has a very interesting/unique floor layout
The Trailer is approx 2.5 feet longer than the Bed which allows for an intergrated fold down set of steps.
You walk up the steps and stand at the foot of the bed across the full width of the trailer. (good area for packing the Porta Potti etc.
Check the various models out on Page 119 of the current "Campertrailer Australia" magazine (Oct/Nov issue 12)

Pics of the one I am referring to are middle Row RHS and bottom row LHS

Sorry Derek, It's not a Camel . I should have said the best that suited us .
No pictures yet but it does have a stair case up front which increases the room area to 9ft x10ft , a extra room 8ft x 10ft and 16ft x 8ft annex .As soon as I get some pics I'll try and post them .

The Guy I spoke with about the Jimboomba Ct (I think it was Rob) was the most enthusiastic fabricator/salesperson I have dealt with.
Nearly bought it over the phone site unseen LOL.

Yes he is , But it didn't take much talk to make the sale , the camper sells it self . The extra height and room size comes from camping with his family . I was lucky to be there when I was to score the one he had built for himself. With loads of extras.

We've seen them in action and they are excellent but you get little change from $40k ... stuff that!
