Rego Stickers

Postby amanda » Thu Jul 05, 2007 9:10 am

I know this isn't camping related, but at least I'm in the General Chit Chat area...anyway, any suggestions for removing very stubborn rego stickers - I've tried glue goo, turps, shellite, scraping and still I can't get the mongrel off!

It's the actual sticker Komodo. I tried to peel it off but it only came off in bits, so I've got about half of it left there. Will give the oil a try.

I use a razor blade. Got a little plastic thing which hold a blade and use it as a scraper. Had it since I first got a car about ---- years ago.

Thanks for all the advice. I finally got it off with a combination of nail polish remover and a paint scraper!

Speaking of rego stickers, our current one in Vic is a beautiful depiction of Red Tailed Black dingaling. The onlky over sight is that we don't have them in Victoria. I hope they don't adopt them as our state emblem. Cheers Scott. P.S. does anyone know how many posts you have to put up before you are no longer a boy scout. I have bad memories of those days.
